  • Gamla Stan (Old Town): Stockholm’s historic district with cobbled streets, colourful buildings, and small craft shops. A must for discovering the city’s history.
  • Vasa Museum: A museum dedicated to the famous Swedish warship Vasa, which sank on its maiden voyage in 1628. The ship was recovered almost intact, and the exhibition is impressive.

💶 Cost of living

  • Rent: 

Accommodation : Private accommodation: Renting a flat in Stockholm can be expensive. In the city centre, a studio or small flat generally costs between EUR1,200 and EUR2,000 per month.

Student accommodation: The SSSB organisation offers more affordable student accommodation (around EUR 400-700 per month), often located in areas close to the universities. The problem is that there is a lot of demand, so you need to apply very early.
